The Clog and Billycock has been part of Pleasington's history for over 150 years. A place of fond memories, laughter and life. Pleasington, is one of the most picturesque parts of a beautiful area. So, like every real Lancashire village, it needs a pub full of Lancashire tradition.
This is the third Ribble Valley Inn pub and like it's stable mates, The Clog and Billycock is steeped in all the history you might expect of a rural treasure. Originally known as the Bay Horse Inn, clogs and the billycock were the favourite attire of a landlord who took over in the early 20th century... and somehow the idea stuck.
