Helping Local Charity

Ribble Valley Inns has always been proud to work exclusively with local suppliers. So it’s only natural we’re keen to keep it local when we support a charity too. That’s why we invite you...our locals and visitors alike...to help us raise vital funds for Blackburn Youth Zone.

Please help The Clog & Billycock to support Blackburn Youth Zone. That’s why we’d like to add a voluntary donation of just 20p per guest to your total bill...every penny of which will go to this priceless service. We’ll also provide regular updates of how much we’ve raised so you can see just what a difference you’ve made.

Thank you so much for your support.

Ribble Valley Inns has always been proud to work exclusively with local suppliers. So it's only natural we're keen to keep it local when we support a charity too. That's why we invite you...our locals to help us raise funds for Blackburn Youth Zone.

The Zone, an iconic, state-of-the-art young person's centre based in Blackburn's Cathedral quarter, opened in summer 2012 attracting young people from across the town and beyond. The Zone provide positives activities and practical support for young people. regardless of their background.

The aim of the Zone offers young people aged 8-12 a place where they can spend their spare time productively engaging in activities that help them find their 'spark' - something they are passionate about and excel in.

The three-storey building has a dedicated sports halls with a climbing wall, a gym, dance and performing arts spaces, a music production space and roof top all weather sports pitch! All for just for 50p admission!

It is undoubtedly a hugely positive project for the town, in fact, Blackburn Youth Zone is the catalyst for the redevelopment of our town centre and can help all of us feel proud about Blackburn and what we will create here.
